Uma das c\u00e9lulas haploides s\u00e3o os&nbsp;gametas&nbsp;(espermatozoides e ov\u00f3citos).&nbsp;Os espermatozoides, assim como os \u00f3vulos, tamb\u00e9m possuem 23 tipos diferentes de&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.educamaisbrasil.com.br\/enem\/biologia\/cromossomos\">cromossomos<\/a>. Por isso, nos humanos, os gametas s\u00e3o 23n. S\u00e3o aqueles que encontram-se escondidos quando em par com os genes dominantes. Para que uma caracter\u00edstica heredit\u00e1ria recessiva seja aparente no fen\u00f3tipo \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio haver um par de genes recessivos. Assim, somente genes alelos homozigotos (aa, bb, vv) apresentam caracter\u00edsticas aparentes no fen\u00f3tipo.<strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/strong>Mendel ao cruzar uma ervilha amarela homozig\u00f3tica (AA) com outra homozig\u00f3tica verde, o resultado era sempre de ervilhas amarelas.
