Ela \u00e9 transmitida de gera\u00e7\u00e3o em gera\u00e7\u00e3o, em processo de transforma\u00e7\u00e3o. Uma parte desse processo se d\u00e1 por meio do di\u00e1logo com o passado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Portinari muitas vezes buscou na mem\u00f3ria dos antepassados e nas pr\u00f3prias experi\u00eancias o ponto de partida para produ\u00e7\u00f5es art\u00edsticas no presente. Um artista pode reafirmar cren\u00e7as antigas para atualiz\u00e1-los em uma obra contempor\u00e2nea. Assim como retomar as lembran\u00e7as afetivas sua e\/ou de seus antepassados conciliando o passado com o futuro. Sendo assim, elabore uma produ\u00e7\u00e3o art\u00edstica (desenho, pintura, escultura ou colagem) fazendo um di\u00e1logo com seu passado, resgatando imagens significativas de sua vida individual ou coletiva.
