Months and days are essential components of our calendar system, which helps us keep track of time. A month is a period of time that is roughly based on the time it takes for the Moon to orbit the Earth. There are 12 months in a year, each with a varying number of days. On the other hand, a day is the time it takes for one rotation of the Earth on its axis, which is 24 hours. The days of the week, Sunday through Saturday, are named after the sun, moon, and planets in our solar system. Together, months and days allow us to schedule events, plan our lives, and mark important occasions such as birthdays, holidays, and anniversaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Um m\u00eas \u00e9 um per\u00edodo de tempo que \u00e9 aproximadamente baseado no tempo que a Lua leva para orbitar a Terra. Por outro lado, um dia \u00e9 o tempo que leva para uma rota\u00e7\u00e3o da Terra em torno de seu eixo, que \u00e9 de 24 horas. Os dias da semana, de domingo a s\u00e1bado, s\u00e3o nomeados em homenagem ao sol, lua e planetas em nosso sistema solar.
