Nele est\u00e3o situados os dois pa\u00edses mais populosos do planeta: China e \u00cdndia. A economia da \u00c1sia \u00e9 extremamente diversificada, com alguns pa\u00edses apresentando um alto desenvolvimento industrial, como Jap\u00e3o e Coreia do Sul, enquanto outros enfrentam desafios sociais significativos, como o Paquist\u00e3o, \u00cdndia e Bangladesh. No continente asi\u00e1tico, encontra-se tamb\u00e9m a regi\u00e3o conhecida como Oriente M\u00e9dio. Essa regi\u00e3o \u00e9 detentora de cerca de 50% das reservas mundiais de petr\u00f3leo e abriga diversos povos de diferentes etnias e religi\u00f5es.
