Para ler de uma maneira mais eficiente e produtiva em L\u00edngua Inglesa, estrat\u00e9gias de leitura j\u00e1 estudadas por n\u00f3s como o SKIMMING&nbsp; e o SCANNING n\u00e3o s\u00e3o as \u00fanicas ferramentas das quais dispomos para interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o de textos escritos. Ap\u00f3s aplicar estas t\u00e9cnicas, n\u00f3s partimos para a leitura aprofundada do texto informativo em si, e para a escrita tamb\u00e9m.&nbsp;A Professora Priscylla explicou que para que tenhamos \u00eaxito na leitura, na an\u00e1lise e na escrita de textos informativos, principalmente \u00e0queles que pertencem ao subg\u00eanero jornal\u00edstico, precisamos pensar em uma s\u00e9rie de categorias.&nbsp;Primeiramente, aplicamos as t\u00e9cnicas de skimming e scanning, depois fazemos a leitura com aten\u00e7\u00e3o, sublinhando cognatos, pesquisando sempre que necess\u00e1rio, o significado das palavras. Entender o contexto, ou seja, as circunst\u00e2ncias em que aquele texto foi escrito, por quem, para quem e para qu\u00ea.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">&nbsp;Para escrever um texto informativo, dissertativo, ou mesmo para escrever textos que critiquem ideias previamente lidas de uma forma s\u00e9ria, n\u00e3o podemos usar estere\u00f3tipos, agressividade, baixo cal\u00e3o, linguagem informal, ironia ou sarcasmo. Precisamos apresentar dados, fatos e informa\u00e7\u00f5es corretas, reflex\u00f5es \u00e9ticas, morais e legais.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">&nbsp;&nbsp;Devemos sempre citar as nossas fontes. E nossas fontes devem ser dignas de credibilidade respeito na comunidade acad\u00eamica, cient\u00edfica e na sociedade como um todo. Narrativas inspiradoras devem servir como argumento. In 1853 no sugar was manufactured, and now for 18 miles on one river are plantations of sugar cane, and some farmers have their own coopers to make sugar barrels. One farmer made last year 55,000 pounds. Cotton is cultivated extensively in the interior, and manufactured by the natives into pieces of three feet wide by six long. Probably from 50,000 to 100,000 of these are exported every year, equal to half a million pounds of cotton, much of which is exported to Brazil.The English are rapidly opening up a trade in raw cotton, by making these cloths themselves and exchanging them for cotton at Monrovia.Many farmers will this year increase the land they have under cultivation.The avidity with which the native Africans enter upon trade and barter is singular. Liberian citizens go back into the interior, and by barter get gold, ivory, palm oil, etc. The exports of Liberia were something like $100,000 last year\u2014far more than the imports.
