Nem sempre elas apresentam tudo isso.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Raiz<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Raiz \u00e9 um conceito hist\u00f3rico, e n\u00e3o gramatical. N\u00e3o vamos estudar este assunto aqui pois nem sempre conseguimos demonstrar a raiz de uma palavra do ponto de vista hist\u00f3rico, pelo fato dela se distanciar muito de sua escrita original, por exemplo a raiz \u00e9 HOUSE em HOUSEHOLD, HOUSEMAID, HOUSEMATE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">N\u00e3o podemos esquecer&nbsp; que palavras cognatas s\u00e3o aquelas que possuem a mesma raiz, formando uma fam\u00edlia de palavras que \u00e9 o conjunto de palavras que se re\u00fanem em torno de um mesmo radical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Radical&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Radical \u00e9 o elemento portador de significado comum a um grupo de palavras da mesma fam\u00edlia. No exemplo dado acima, j\u00e1 falamos do que seria o radical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Afixos<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Afixos s\u00e3o elementos que se juntam ao radical (neste caso se dizem prefixos) ou depois (neste caso se denominam sufixos) dele. N\u00f3s estudamos primeiramente os prefixos. Os afixos apenas alteram o significado do radical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De posse desses conhecimentos e do v\u00eddeo que voc\u00ea assistiu, traduza as palavras abaixo, e depois use os prefixos dados&nbsp; para mudar as palavras, de forma que elas tenham um significado diferente:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PREFIXOS:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DIS- &nbsp; &nbsp; IL-&nbsp; IM- &nbsp; IN-
